About the French Bulldog
The French Bulldog has exploded in popularity for good reason — they are adaptable, low-energy, and endlessly affectionate. History
Despite the name, the French Bulldog originated in England as a miniature Bulldog popular with lace workers in Nottingham. Many emigrated to France during the Industrial Revolution, bringing their dogs with them. French breeders refined the breed, and they quickly became fashionable among Parisian society.

Care & Maintenance
French Bulldogs are brachycephalic (flat-faced) and can overheat easily — never leave them in hot cars or direct sun. They do not require much exercise but benefit from short daily walks. Clean their facial skin folds regularly to prevent irritation. They are quiet dogs and rarely bark.
